The Womens Sports Committee in the Kuwait Olympic Committee was elected on June 30, 2019. The committee developed a four-year strategic plan based on its assessment of the current status of women’s sports in Kuwait and the overall status quo. The overarching aim of the strategy is to establish a holistic and self-sufficient structure that propels womens sports to new heights.
The committees aim is to represent and serve women athletes and further develop women sports in Kuwait. The ultimate goal is to provide opportunities for every girl and woman a chance to play her chosen sport while representing her country. The committee is made up of 5 members, who bring a wealth of experience in the sports industry. Moreover, the committee members have held several business administrative positions and possess various certifications in the sports and health arena.
